Azzco Engineering Lady Heat Import On Her Way!

The Big V Senior Heat Committee and Mildura Basketball are excited to confirm the signing of Fanni Szabo for the 2022 Big V Season.

28-year-old Szabo, a 6’0 Guard/Small Forward joins the Heat from Budapest Hungary and Euro League where she has played since graduating from NCAA Division 1 Dartmouth College.

Head Coach James Madigan on Szabo’s signing:

Very excited to add the last piece of the puzzle to our team and if everything goes well, for the first time this season, we should be able to put our full team on the court Saturday night.

Szabo will arrive in Mildura tomorrow night, which will only give her a few days to try and shake off some of the jetlag before the weekend, however, we look forward to her rolling into the team for the first time for Round 6 this Saturday at the Hothouse!
