Domestic Clearances

Clearances are only available for submission prior to Summer Competition each year.

Clearances will open on a date determined and advised by MBA.

Clearance Process

  1. Request will be registered with the MBA and forwarded to Clubs for consideration and response.

     

  2. Decisions will not be communicated until after the Club Delegates meeting on Monday 15th September. Any form submitted after the closing date will not be tabled until the following meeting, therefore, may not be processed prior to season commencement.

     

  3. The requested FUTURE club will notify the player of the outcome of application via the email listed on the form.
    If the clearance is pending returning of a jersey or fees, then the clearance may be approved once these are complete.

  5. As per By-law 5.1 - A registered player shall not be permitted to play for any other Club within any competition unless they have been cleared by the Club with which they have been registered.

    *Failure to adhere to this will result in immediate loss of match points for the new team.

     

  6. All clearances have to be submitted via the online form, paper clearances will no longer be accepted.
