2024 BIG V HEAD COACHES APPOINTED

Mildura Basketball is excited to announce the appointment of Travis Coombes and Sammy Gazzo as our Head Coaches for the 2024 Big V Season.


Travis Coombes will take the lead of the Women's program after several years assisting retiring coach James Madigan. Travis brings a wealth of coaching experience at both junior and senior, domestic, and representative levels to the role, and we are excited to see what he can bring to the women's program in 2024.


Leading the Men in 2024 will be Sammy Gazzo, an extensively experienced Big V past player, coach at various levels, and current CBL Heat Men's Head Coach. Sammy brings an exciting new approach and if CBL is any indication a program that is going to take our Big V Men to the next level.
